Artist Thu Nguyen creates realistic paintings with a sense of conceptual appeal, inspired by the work of Andrew Wyeth. Nguyen earned a BFA in painting at California State University, Long Beach and has since received multiple grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation. Her work is represented in many public and private collections in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Mexico.
Last but not least, my painting is included in the Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition Exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery (NPG) from March 12, 2016 through January 8, 2017.
